Kathleen P. S. Sherrill, AIA, NOMA, NCARB, LEEDAP
Mrs. Sherrill founded and leads the firm as its Principal Architect. With over 35 years of experience, her responsibilities include oversight of the design process, lead architectural designer, management and quality control oversight. Mrs. Sherrill's project experience includes Historic Restoration and Adaptive Reuse, Military Facilities, Community Centers, Higher Education Facilities, Pre-K-12 Education Facilities, Religious Facilities, Office Buildings, Airport and Transportation Facilities, Storage and Factory Buildings.
As a member of the Baltimore Chapter, she has served in several capacities on the Executive Board and as 2012 President. Following her serve on the Baltimore Board, Kathleen was asked to serve as secretary of the State Board. She served in this capacity until 2015 when she was elected President Elect to serve as the 2016 Board President. Her service to members of the profession has been both rewarding and educational.
Kathleen has taught in several capacities, including serving as guest lecturer at Morgan State University and as an adjunct professor teaching Management, Practice and Law. She was awarded outstanding alumni by the School of Architecture and Planning at the Founders’ Day Convocation November 10, 2011. Additional awards include Top 100 MBE Business in the Mid-Atlantic Region in 2011.
In 2017, Kathleen was approached by several young architects to help with the establishment of a local chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects. She immediately excepted and was later asked to serve as its first president. She served in this position until 2019.

Raymond Heil, RLA
Mr. Heil has over 34 years of experience designing public, urban, landscape projects. His expertise includes sustainable design of Urban Landscapes, Historic Parks, Hardscapes, Urban Streetscapes, Stormwater Management, Urban Design, Native Plant Design and Project Management. His design philosophy includes creative use of native plants that are low maintenance and have low water requirements. While employed with Baltimore County, Raymond provided landscape design for many of the beltway interchanges throughout the County.
Since joining SP Arch, Raymond is working with Baltimore City to design low maintenance plants for two new schools in the City. This new plant specification will become the standard for City Schools.
