Maryland State Emergency Operations Center

SP Arch Inc. through a contract with Gipe Associates, the team was commissioned to design the renovation of the State Emergency Operations Center. Our tasks included providing construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and construction administration services. Our design included replacing the raised floor system, new custom casework, coordination and selection of finishes, and demolition of existing offices to accommodate a more efficient, new layout. Renovation of the conference room and strategy room, along with the large operations center were all made accessible on every level because of the new connecting platform levels.
